Boston College advances to Hockey East final

By Nathan White

One game is in the books here at Boston Garden. The Boston College Eagles got past the University of Vermont Catamounts 3-0 to advance to Saturday’s Hockey East championship game. Jimmy Hayes led the way with a three-point night, Chris Kreider had a goal and an assist and John Muse posted the shutout.

My game story should be posted soon at http://collegehockey247.rivals.com/default.asp

In the second semifinal, the University of Maine Black Bears have been all over the Boston University Terriers. They lead 2-0 and outshout BU 18-5 in the first period.

  1. Are you at the games? If you get a chance to talk to jerry york tell him I said hello – I know his son well.

  2. Yes Andy, I’m here, I’ll try to say hello if I get a chance after the game. He might not be in a good mood if Maine pulls the upset though!
